JWC Fair Holidays - Due to the upcoming Jim Wells County Fair, the OGISD will enjoy its annual fair holidays on Wednesday through Friday, October 24-26, 2018. Please mark your calendars accordingly.

As you may already know, the annual Jim Wells County Fair is just on the horizon. As a result of this agriculture county event, our school and its staff and students will enjoy school holidays starting on Wednesday, October 24, 2018, through Friday, October 26, 2018. Please note that school will be in session on Monday and Tuesday, October 22-23, 2018. Historically, our elementary and intermediate campuses have had poor attendance on such school days for whatever reason. I am asking all our parents and guardians for assistance in reversing such trend. I would like to maximize the instructional and academic value of such days by having high attendance on such days. Your assistance in such regard is greatly appreciated.
