“Home is where the heart is,” and my heart and home is in Orange Grove. Orange Grove has been a great place to teach and live. I have been part of this community my whole life. I am a former graduate of OGHS and a Bulldog fan through and through. I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Education with a Specialization in Reading from Texas A & I University. I have been teaching at OGISD for 22 years. Teaching for me is a vocation and a great responsibility. My goal is to instill a love of learning in the students and help build their self-esteem by means of being successful in meeting their learning goals.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family. I love reading, listening to music, and dancing. I am also an active member of St. John of the Cross Catholic Church and help out with different ministries.
